Gate Valve

Fluid flows through gate valves in a straight line. The gate controls the flow through the valve, and it is moved by a stem. They are used where uninterrupted flow with a minimum pressure drop is required.

There is extensive use of gate valves throughout the petroleum, energy, and process industries.

Cryogenic Service

A cryogenic version of a gate valve can also be designed. In this case, all the materials and technical features are designed to withstand the minimum design temperature required by the Customer, down to Cryogenic -196°C. If required by the customer, specific Cryogenic Tests are performed to verify the behavior of production valves in terms of valve torque, sealing capability, emissions vs the ambient.
